STEP 1: Name the waste stream product you are creating
- Click on Setup Menu
- Click on Waste Stream Setup
- Enter the Product Name and Product Description
- Click Save and then Next
STEP 2: Add all relevant materials for the waste stream
- Click on Add Material
- Enter the name of the material
- Enter a description of the material
- Select a colour for the material listing
- Click Save
- Repeat Steps 1 to 5 for every relevant material
- When all materials are added, click Next
STEP 3: Create your waste stream groups
- Click Add Group
- Add the Category Name
- Add a description for the category
- Click Save
- Repeat Steps 1 to 4 for any groups you need
- When all groups are added, click Next
STEP 4: Create your supply product classes
- Click on Create Class
- Select the Category from the drop down
- Enter the Supply Product’s class name
- Enter a class description
- Select the unit of measurement from the drop-down list e.g. Kilogram, lbs, etc.
- Add the Estimated Weight
- Click Save
- Repeat steps 1- 7 again until all your relevant classes have been added
- Click Next
STEP 5: Add end-of-life product classes
You will have two options:
Option 1: Click on Use Supply Classes as is
Option 2: Create Grouping of Supply Classes
- Click on Create Grouping of Supply Classes
- Enter the Group Name and a Group Description
- Add the estimated end-of-life weight
- Click on the relevant classes
- Click on the right arrow
- Click Save then Next
STEP 6: Set up derived products
- Click on Create Class
- Select the Category Group from the dropdown
- Enter name for the Class
- Add a description for the class
- Select the unit of measurement from the drop-down list
- Enter an estimated weight
- Click on Add Composition
- Enter the percentage breakdown of the materials
- Click Save
STEP 7: When all the Derived Produced Classes are completed, click View Configured Product to finish.
